Russ is a professional photographer and co-owns Hartung & Dickman Studios in Sparks, Nevada. He is also the principal tubist with the Reno Philharmonic Orchestra. He plays guitar and bass in the local country church and he makes his home near Frenchman's lake in Northern California with his wife Lynda, three horses, eight cats and a very smart border collie named Biscuit.
